39 Essex Chambers’ barrister Stephen Tromans KC talks to nuclear lawyer and scientist Dr Bahram Ghiassee about his recently published book Radiological Terrorism: A Global Threat.   They discuss what is meant by radiological terrorism, its implications in today’s world, and why the threat is increasing, as well as what needs to change in international law to address that threat.  Thay also discuss the implications of the current armed conflict in the Middle East in terms of nuclear safety.
