About the Event

Human Rights & Data Intelligence brings together three of 39 Essex Chambers’ specialists – David Mitchell, Nyasha Weinberg and Sam Fowles – to navigate the fast-moving intersection of fundamental rights and data law.

Surveillance, Biometrics AI, algorithm bias, GDPR compensations and generative AI are no longer niche concerns: they arise in public law, employment, health and social care, national security and commercial disputes alike. Current to May 2026, this talk equips solicitors with the case law that matters from Big Brother Watch and Bridges to the CJEU’s latest rulings on pseudonymisation and abusive access requests.
