Four members of 39 Essex Chambers successful in 2017 QC appointments

39 Essex Chambers is delighted to announce that Andrew Tabachnik, Kate Grange, Deok Joo Rhee and Karim Ghaly have been appointed Queen’s Counsel in the 2017 competition.

The successful barristers’ expertise spans a range of practice areas with Andrew Tabachnik specialising in planning, disciplinary and regulatory law; Kate Grange’s practice combining both public and commercial law; Deok Joo Rhee is a specialist in EU, public and human rights law and Karim Ghaly’s expertise includes commercial/construction, engineering, energy and infrastructure disputes.

They will officially be awarded their silk status in a ceremony at Westminster on Monday 13th February.

Their appointments will bring the total number of silks at 39 Essex Chambers to 47.
