Tom Tabori appears for the successful SSHD as CoA settles long residence question arising in numerous appeals to the CoA

Court of Appeal (Haddon-Cave and Floyd LLJ) today handed down judgment in R (on the application of Masum Ahmed) v SSHD [2019] EWCA Civ 1070 this important case concerning the long residence immigration rules. At para 19, they write:

19. In view of the fact that there are numerous appeals to this court which advance the argument with which we have dealt, we direct that this judgment be published, and may be cited notwithstanding that it is a decision on PTA.
