Richard Spearman QC Approved To Sit As A Deputy High Court Judge In The Queen’s Bench Division

Richard Spearman QC has had his authorisation under s9(1) of the Senior Courts Act 1981 to sit as a Deputy Judge of the High Court in the Chancery Division extended to enable him to deal with matters in the Queen’s Bench Division. He hopes that, in particular, this will afford him the opportunity to try cases in the Media and Communications List, which involve one of his specialist areas.
