Benjamin Tankel in religious rights challenge to Senior Coroner

Benjamin Tankel is instructed by the Adath Yisroel Burial Society in its judicial review claim against the Senior Coroner of Inner North London, Mary Hassell, who has declined to expedite the release of Jewish and Muslim bodies from her jurisdiction in order to facilitate their religious requirement of early burial. The Coroner’s policy has caused anger and consternation across both communities.
