39 Essex Chambers

39 Essex Chambers is a legal services provider. We help our clients by providing legal advice to them and representing them in courts and tribunals.  Our staff team support our team of 182 barristers and arbitrators in enabling this to happen. We act for clients domestically and internationally.  We have offices in London, Singapore and Malaysia but we are not an enormous organisation. We have a staff team of about 43 people. With smaller teams we really get to know and understand everyone working with us. You will have the opportunity in a smaller team to do a wider range of work and build your experience more widely than you would in a larger organisation.

We have come up with some innovative ways to ensure that this continues in Lockdown and worked hard to make sure that we have understood the needs of everyone in our team and that they have felt supported.

Our London office is in the heart of legal London, on Chancery Lane, close to the Royal Courts of Justice and Lincoln’s Inn Fields.  Chambers is easy to get to by tube, train and bus. We have a cycle to work scheme and very modern shower and bike storage facilities.
