Judge gives permission to take blood samples from the Skripals

Vikram Sachdeva QC and Jack Anderson were instructed on behalf of the Official Solicitor to represent the interests of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in relation to an application by the Secretary of State for the Home Department for orders that it is in their best interests for blood samples to be taken (and other steps taken) in connection with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons’ investigation as to their exposure to a nerve agent. Mr Justice Williams ruled that it was in their best interests for the requested steps to be taken. Judgment is available here.
