Parliamentary and Public Affairs

What Our Barristers Do

Our barristers provide drafting and expert advice on proposed legislation at the Parliament of the United Kingdom, the devolved institutions, and in Europe and overseas jurisdictions.

This includes representation and advice in relation to public bills, hybrid and private bills and orders, special parliamentary procedure and Transport and Works Act orders.

Who Our Barristers Act For

Our clients include central government and public authorities and petitioners such as local authorities, property owners, non-government organisations (NGOs), charities, and community representative groups.

Where Our Barristers Act

Our barristers appear before select committees on private and hybrid bills and orders and at inquiries into Transport and Works Act orders.
