Mediation in a Post-Churchill World: 2024 and Beyond
39 Essex Chambers member Kelly Stricklin-Coutinho will be speaking at Ciarb London Branch Annual Mediation Seminar co-organised by Ciarb (London Branch) and CEDR, on Mediation in a Post-Churchill World: 2024 and beyond on Wednesday 31st January 2024 at 6.00pm.
The landmark 2023 Court of Appeal decision has opened up a new landscape for mediation in England and Wales. Chair Gill Mansfield will be joined by mediation and litigation practitioners to:
• explore the impact of the Churchill decision on mediations in England and Wales including trends for the future of mediation;
• share thoughts on the immediate changes to be felt by mediation parties and practitioners when preparing their litigation strategy; and
• understand the effects that Churchill may have on working with parties who have been ordered to attend.
