Edwin Glasgow CBE KC named The Times Lawyer of the Week

We are pleased to announce that Edwin Glasgow CBE KC was named The Times “Lawyer of the Week” in recognition of his recent success acting in an intervention on behalf of three leading alternative dispute resolution groups in the Court of Appeal, in Churchill v Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council. This case overturned a ruling made nearly 20 years ago which had ruled that courts could not order parties to mediate.

Edwin spoke to Catherine Baksi about the biggest challenges in the case, the best advice he has been given, what law he would enact and more. This interview highlighted Edwin’s extensive and impressive career as well as his wit and good humour.
