Sir David Foskett appointed to the Sport Resolutions' Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators

Chambers is delighted to announce that Sir David Foskett has been appointed to the Sport Resolutions Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators, both domestically and internationally.

Prior to his appointment as a High Court Judge in 2007, Sir David had been a member of Sports Dispute Resolution Panel's of Mediators and Arbitrators. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Chair of the Civil Mediation Council and now is a full-time arbitrator and mediator.  As a judge, he had extensive experience of medically-related cases, employment, disciplinary and contractual issues and tried a number of cases involving sporting and leisure-related matters.  As a QC he represented a kick-boxer in a damages claim and at one stage in his career at the Bar he was standing Counsel to the British Horse Society. He has wide sporting interests with cricket, rugby and athletics predominating.
