Samuel Burrett and Scarlett Milligan Join 39 Essex Chambers

39 Essex Chambers is absolutely delighted to announce that Samuel Burrett and Scarlett Milligan have joined us as tenants.

Sam, who joins from Pump Court Chambers, will practise across the range of chambers' civil liability work, with a particular focus on personal injury, clinical negligence, insurance fraud, commercial, sports, costs and inquiry matters.

Scarlett, who joins from Temple Garden Chambers, has a broad practice with particular expertise in civil claims for negligence, personal injury, and other tortious wrongdoing, as well as in public law, inquests and inquiries. Her inquest and inquiry work has been recognised in the leading legal directories and she is also appointed to the Attorney General's C Panel of Counsel.

Both Sam and Scarlett are currently instructed as Junior Counsel to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.
