Inspector decides not to confirm CPO sought by London Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime ('MOPAC') at Perivale

On 20 January 2022 the Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State issued her decision in respect of a CPO promoted by the  MOPAC declining to confirm it. The land the subject of the CPO is part of the Perivale industrial estate owned by SEGRO and from which the Metropolitan Police Service operate its  Vehicle Recovery Service under a lease. SEGRO who successfully objected to the CPO were represented by Richard Wald QC and Celina Colquhoun and Richard Harwood QC and Christiaan Zwart acted for MOPAC.
