Jenni Richards QC And Katie Scott Appointed As Counsel To The Infected Blood Inquiry

39 Essex Chambers is delighted to announce that Jenni Richards QC and Katie Scott have been appointed as leading and junior counsel to the Infected Blood Inquiry being chaired by Sir Brian Langstaff.

The Minister for the Cabinet Office announced the Terms of Reference in the House of Commons on Monday 2nd July 2018. The Inquiry will be examining the circumstances in which NHS patients in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland were given infected blood or blood products, the response from Government and the industry and the impact upon those patients and their families of being infected.
