Infected Blood Inquiry Continues Hearings
The Infected Blood Inquiry continues to hear evidence from a wide range of witnesses on what has been called the worst treatment disaster in NHS history.
This week, Lord Kenneth Clarke, Minister of State for Health 1982-85 and Secretary of State for Health 1988-90, is giving oral evidence. Lord Clarke follows other Government witnesses the previous week: Dr Diana Walford (a senior Department of Health medical officer in the 1980s) and Lord Simon Glenarthur (Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health 1983-1985).
