Four 39 Essex Chambers barristers called to the Irish Bar

As part of 39 Essex Chambers preparations for Brexit, Christopher Staker, Katherine Apps, Hannah McCarthy and Ruth Keating were called to the Irish Bar at the Supreme Court of Ireland on 11 October 2019. They have rights of audience in all Irish courts including the Supreme Court. They will retain rights of audience at the Court of Justice of the EU and General Court of the EU in Luxembourg, even in the event of a no deal Brexit.
