Landlord and Tenant
What our barristers do
Our barristers act and advise in all disputes between landlords and tenants that arise from commercial and residential leases. We have experience of contested lease renewals, dilapidations claims, possession proceedings, including on the ground of forfeiture, proceedings for breach of covenant, service charge disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, and lease extensions.
Who our barristers act for
We act for developers, landed estates, local authorities, housing associations, property management companies, residents’ associations, and private landlords and tenants.
Where our barristers act
Our barristers represent clients in all courts and tribunals in England and Wales. These include the Business and Property Courts in London and the regions, the specialist regional County Court centres, including central London to which business and property work is transferred from the High Court, the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) in residential property cases, the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber), and at all levels of the appellate courts.
