What our barristers do
We act in a wide range of abuse claims, including historic and recent sexual abuse claims. Our non-sexual abuse work is often in the sporting arena and includes bullying and other forms of emotional and physical abuse.
Our barristers regularly deal with issues of limitation, consent, assumption of responsibility, failure to safeguard, vicarious liability and complex causation and quantum issues.
Who our barristers act for
We act for both claimants and defendants in abuse claims, including insurers, religious institutions, local authorities, sports clubs, schools and other institutions.
Where our barristers act
Our barristers appear in court proceedings at all levels, although usually in the High Court or above. Our barristers also act in abuse inquiries.
