Exceptional circumstances threshold in CPR 45.29J met

Shaman Kapoor acted for the receiving party in Hallsworth v EUI Limited (Claim No: G76YX830) and was successful at a preliminary issue hearing in obtaining a declaration that "exceptional circumstances" were met pursuant to CPR 45.29J so as to enable the Court to consider costs in excess of fixed recoverable costs.

The hearing was before Regional Costs Judge Woodburn sitting in the County Court at Bristol on 27 September 2022.
