39 from 39 - Symmetry in the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has given judgment on 14th December in D B Symmetry v Swindon Borough Council on whether a planning condition could and did require access roads within a commercial estate to be dedicated as highways.  The case deals with important issues on the scope of planning conditions and the old Hall v Shoreham-on-Sea decision, and the interpretation of conditions.

Richard Harwood KC and Victoria Hutton, who appeared in the case for the Council, will be discussing the decision.

The Supreme Court’s decision is here.

There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion. Questions can be sent in advance to marketing@39essex.com or using Zoom's Q&A function.
