Andrew Tabachnik QC secures planning permission for 176 new homes to the east of Chichester

Andrew Tabachnik QC, instructed by CEG, has secured planning permission for 176 new homes to the east of Chichester.  This followed a 9 day Inquiry considering issues such as planning policy, housing land supply, helicopter routings and noise impacts, the relationship of the scheme to the Goodwood Estate and landscape/visual impact.  The Goodwood Estate attempted to challenge the decision via a s288 challenge, but this was dismissed by the High Court as unarguable. Andrew Tabachnik QC also represented CEG in resisting the proposed s288 challenge.  Victoria Hutton represented the Secretary of State.
