Alison Foster QC and Saima Hanif obtain permission to appeal to the Court of Appeal in landmark pharmacy consultation case

The High Court has granted permission to the Claimants to appeal the judgment in PSNC v Secretary of State for Health [2017] EWHC 1147. The appeal concerns the lawfulness of the Government's decision to reduce funding for the community pharmacy sector, and in particular, whether the Government's failure to disclose that it had obtained information about the operating margins of pharmacies was such as to render the consultation unfair.
