Timothy Lyons QC participates in Law Society Gazette Roundtable: Brexit

Timothy Lyons QC has participated in the Law Society Gazette's roundtable on Brexit.

The roundtable follows a highly controversial High Court judgment which determined that only parliament can trigger article 50. This placed lawyers, the legal system and especially judges at the centre of a media firestorm. The government's appeal headed for the Supreme Court on Monday 5th December 2016. But those present at this roundtable in late November 2016 were already looking beyond the trigger-point. As  Timothy Lyons QC puts it: 'I'm sure we shan't spend the rest of our lives worried about article 50.'
