Seminar paper – Probity in Decision Making (March 2005, Richard Harwood)

CategoryArticlesDate

This paper was orginally presented at a seminar at 39 Essex Street in March 2005.

“This paper considers some current problems in local authority decision-making. The Courts have looked again at bias and predetermination issues – the result being a tightening of restrictions on councillors. The Code of Conduct for local authorities continues to cause difficulties in understanding and application.”
