Sadie Crapper secures permission for Homes for Haringey to proceed with contempt proceedings

On 22 January 2013 Sadie Crapper secured permission from Mr Justice Holroyde for Homes for Haringey to proceed with its application for contempt proceedings against Barbara Fari and her husband, Piper Fari, after Mrs Fari’s personal injury case was the first case in which the strike out jurisdiction identified by the Supreme Court in Summers v Fairclough [2012] 1 WLR 2004 was exercised in October 2012. The application will proceed to a final hearing later in the year.
