R (Pemberton International Ltd) v London Borough of Lambeth & Sharhrokh Parvin [2014] EWHC 1998 (Admin)

Judicial review of a decision made by a local planning authority to grant permanent permission for outdoor restaurant seating within a predominately residential square in Clapham Old Town. The Planning Court considered the operation of the planning authority’s delegated powers and the scope of sub-delegation, ultimately quashing the planning permission due to a failure to consider local resident complaints made during a trial period of outdoor seating.

The Claimant was represented by Richard Wald.
