Hours: 42.5 Hour week on a rota between 8.00am and 6.30pm

We are recruiting for a Junior Clerk/ Office Assistant to join a team of five. 39 Essex Chambers is a modern, well established barristers’ chambers based in Chancery Lane in Central London. The position offers an ideal opportunity for entry into practice management or other administrative roles in chambers, with excellent career progression potential.

The skills required for this job include: accuracy, determination, confidence, good communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, resilience, enthusiasm, good IT skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
3 A Level Grade C or above (or equivalent) are highly preferred with a minimum of 5 Grade C (4) or above GCSEs including Maths and English essential. Applications from graduates in any subject welcomed.
