Geoffrey Brown was called in 1981. He has many years experience of personal injury litigation, fatal accident claims and health and safety work. This covers employment or work related injuries generally, claims arising out of road traffic accidents and/or dangers on the highway, and an extensive range of other accidents or incidents. He deals with a wide spectrum of both physical and psychiatric injuries, including brain and spinal injuries, fibromyalgia, pain states, etc. He has delivered talks on a number of topics, including contributory negligence and care claims. Aside from personal injury work, he also undertakes cases involving property damage, product liability, professional negligence and insurance. He works for both claimants and defendants.
Caroline Truscott was called to the Bar in 1998. She practices in the fields of personal injury and costs. She has extensive experience of all aspects of personal injury work on behalf of both claimants and defendants. Her costs practice includes advisory work, interlocutory costs hearings and detailed assessments in the County Court and Supreme Court Costs Office on behalf of paying and receiving parties. Recent costs cases have involved issues of non-compliance with the CFA regulations, the recoverability of insurance premiums and costs capping orders.
