No justification for a delay in seeking an extension of time for serving an appellant

In Kagalovsky v Altman [2014] EWHC 108(QB) the defendant applied for an extension of time in which to file an appellant’s notice in respect of a previous finding holding him in contempt of Court. The application was made on the very last day for filing the notice and came before the Court for hearing some three and a half weeks later.
