NHS Accountable Care Organisation Judicial Review

Professor Stephen Hawking and others have been granted permission to apply for judicial review of government policy on the introduction of Accountable Care Organisations in the NHS. The case will decide whether the policy is ultra vires and/or whether the Secretary of State for Health and/or NHS England have breached their duties of transparency and clarity in respect of the policy.

Jenni Richards QC and Peter Mant are acting for the claimants.
