Neil Block QC represents Defendant in case which awards record damages to a young girl injured in RTA

Neil Block QC represented the Defendant in JDF v Hampshire County Council, a case in which record damages of £28 million (capitalised) were awarded to a young girl injured in a road traffic accident.

This was the first case to come before the High Court (Foskett J.) in which damages were based upon the negative discount rate following the recent review.
