Ben Olbourne will present on “multi-tiered dispute resolution clauses in the construction industry”.  He will endeavour to look at the interpretation and application of these, with an English / SE Asian comparative perspective.  He will look at issues including the law applicable to such agreements, standards of compliance with their terms, issues of particular significance including “good faith” and “reasonable or best endeavours” obligations, and also at the consequences of non-compliance.
