Marion Smith QC & Rachael O'Hagan To Speak At "Construction Contracts: Solution-Focused Legal Answers for Surveyors and Architects Conference

Marion Smith QC and Rachael O'Hagan are to speak at the White Paper's "Construction Contracts: Solution-Focused Legal Answers for Surveyors and Architects, which will be held at The Caledonian Club, London on Wednesday 6th December 2017.

Marion will speak on 'Does "good faith" create an obligation for contracting parties or is it meaningless for the average final account dispute? What about the NEC concept of mutual trust and co-operation?'.

Rachael will speak on 'To what extent is the court taking a fluid approach to "consequential loss"; and so giving effect to the intention of the parties and the commercial freedom to negotiate risk?'.
