Karen Gough and Ben Olbourne to speak at the 3rd IPBA Asia-Pac Arbitration Day 2017

Karen Gough and Ben Olbourne are to speak at the 3rd IPBA Asia-Pac Arbitration Day 2017 which will take place at  KLRCA Bangunan Sulaiman, Kuala Lumpur on 25th September 2017.

The Arbitration Day will focus on trending issues in the arbitration world.

Karen will be moderating Session 2: Arbitral Institutions – Pushing the Limits.  The speakers will be looking at reforms and developments of regional arbitral institutions to meet the needs of parties seeking to have their disputes resolved through arbitration and will look at what comes next?  We have speakers addressing developments in Europe, India, Singapore and Malaysia.

Ben will be participating in a large debate on topical issues including gender diversity in arbitration and third party involvement. Ben will be arguing in favour of the motion that arbitral institutions should appoint more young practitioners as arbitrators.

Our Director of Asian Business, Roderick Noble, will also be in attendance throughout the day.
