Jonathan Auburn publishes his new book on judicial review

Jonathan Auburn has just published his co-authored text Judicial Review Principles and Procedure. This will be available from the Oxford University Press from 21st March. It is a major new work for OUP giving comprehensive coverage of all of the substantive grounds of review, and is carefully structured to provide comprehensive and practical guidance on each successive stage of a claim, including chapters on remedies, discretion and costs.

The book also contains detailed analysis of emerging grounds of review, such as:

  • Error of fact.
  • Delay on the part of public bodies.
  • Public sector equality duties.
  • The latest developments in procedural fairness.

OUP say “this definitive new work provides unrivalled analysis and guidance on the law of judicial review”.

Judicial Review: Principles and Procedure is aimed at lawyers (whether in the sector, private practice or in-house) who need to deal with issues of public law and judicial review.
