Susan Rodway QC specialises in high value claims and complex medical and scientific issues, including cerebral palsy and other birth injuries as well as acquired brain damage, failures to diagnose and serious spinal injuries.
She also acts in related medical matters arising out of inquiries or inquests, disciplinary proceedings and pharmaceutical product liability. She was involved in the LSD and ECT group litigation and is currently involved in an action against a drug company and the Medicines Agency relating to failures of product information.
Vikram Sachdeva, a qualified Doctor, has experience and skill in a wide range of clinical negligence and public law matters, and appears in court regularly for both Claimants and Defendants. Vikram is a member of the Treasury C Panel. Vikram has a busy advocacy practice, in the High Court, County Court, and various disciplinary tribunals, which involves both his medical and his legal skills, and is a member of the Medico- Legal Society, the Society of Doctors in Law, and ARDL.
Nicola Greaney’s practice includes public law and clinical negligence. She acts frequently in cases involving the inherent jursidiction of the High Court to make decisions in the best interests of incapable adults, including medical treatment issues. She is the co-author of the recent book: The Mental Capacity Act 2005 published by the Law Society which is a guide to the new legal framework. She acts for claimants, defendants and the Official Solicitor.
She has worked with Neil Block QC on birth trauma cases. She has acted for claimants in clinical negligence claims arising from cosmetic surgery. She was instructed by the Treasury Solicitor in the post-traumatic stress litigation involving soldiers serving in the Falklands, Northern Ireland, Bosnia and the Gulf. She also undertakes work in the professional discipline field and is on the Treasury Solicitor’s “B” panel of Counsel.
