A New, Free Online Resource about the Stephen Lawrence Case

39 Essex Chambers is pleased to support the launch of the new free, online resource DiscoverMacpherson.com. This resource is available to support teachers, lecturers, researchers as well as provide the general public with more information about the murder of Stephen Lawrence.

The documents within the resource, which have been made available to the public for the first time, include transcripts and other key records in a searchable form. They cover the event, the subsequent public inquiry as well as the far wider reaching consequences and legacy. The team behind the project include Brian Cathcart, former professor of journalism at Kingston University and the author of the award-winning 1999 book The Case of Stephen Lawrence, and the record management company SDS Group.
