The Inquiry has heard evidence from Lord David Owen, a minister at what was then the Department of Health and Social Security (DHSS) from 1974-76, as well as presentations on (i) medical and scientific material relating to the development of knowledge of risk of infection from blood and blood products, and (ii) the Cardiff Haemophilia Centre

Jenni Richards QC, Katie Scott, and Annabel Lee are instructed on behalf of the Inquiry; Eleanor Grey QC acts on behalf of the Department of Health; and Charlie Cory-Wright QC, Gethin Thomas and Daniel Kozelko act on behalf of NHS Blood and Transplant.
