Health and Social Care Professional Regulation Review – Targeted at Solicitors

CategorySeminar Archive Author Alison Foster QC, Alexis Hearnden Date

The government has described the current regulatory system for the regulation of health and social care professionals as “complex and expensive” and is aiming to move to a system that is proportional, effective and less complex.

The Law Commission has been appointed to renew the regulation and has asked for the assistance of Thirty Nine Essex Street, and as such its valued clients, in ensuring that they have the fullest and most productive consultation process possible.

Francis Patterson QC, Public Law Commissioner and Tim Spencer-Lane of The Law Commission, along with Alison Foster QC and Alexis Hearnden of Thirty Nine Essex Street will be discussing the current issues, and proposals, relating to the regulation of health and social care professionals.
