On 24th June the Court of Appeal dismissed the final two judicial review proceedings brought against the development consent order made for the Thames Tideway Tunnel. The tunnel is intended to collect foul and surface water top prevent discharges of untreated sewage into the River Thames
In January 2015 Mr Justice Ouseley dismissed four applications for permission to apply for judicial review. Three of those decisions were appealed to the Court of Appeal. One was disposed of by a refusal by Lord Justice Sullivan on the papers. Permission to appeal has been refused in the final two cases (Thames Blue Green Economy and London Blue Green Plan) by Lord Justice Sales.
