Misuse of Private Information

What our barristers do

We act in all areas of privacy law, whether concerning breach of confidence, Articles 8 and 10 or the tort of misuse of private information. In the private law sphere our barristers advise and act in applications for interim injunctions and substantive privacy claims (often overlapping with data protection and defamation matters). In the public law sphere we act in all aspects of human rights law including challenges concerning Article 8.

Our barristers advise and act in cases to do with court reporting, derogations from open justice and contempt of court.
