What our barristers do
Our barristers advise and act in all types of election law cases, including election petitions under the Representation of the People Act 1983, judicial reviews, and postal and proxy voting cases.
We act in matters involving regulatory issues concerning the registration and administration of political parties and relating to funding, donations and loans under the Political Parties Elections and Referendums Act 2000.
We have wide experience of issues arising in local and parliamentary elections, including within the devolved administrations.
Several of our barristers are involved in the drafting of election law legislation.
