The Event
Chambers is delighted to host an event with Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) for London International Disputes Week 2024.
A cross-jurisdictional analysis and discussion of the role that mediation plays in different court systems around the world, the direction of travel and what opportunities and challenges lie ahead as London moves to further integrate mediation with litigations.
Members Justice L. Nageswara Rao and Kelly Stricklin-Coutinho along with James South (CEDR), Ralf Lindback (Wärtsilä Corporation) and Mario Dotti (Milan Chamber of Arbitration) will look at key questions currently facing different court systems, which include:
- What place does mediation have in the relevant court; system?;
- Are there plans for further integration?; and
- What works? What doesn’t?
Jurisdictions anticipated to be covered are UK, India, UK, New Zealand amongst others.
