Demolition of Minley Home Farm refused

Hart District Council has refused to authorise the demolition of Minley Home Farm, a model Edwardian Farmstead.  The farm is set within Minley Manor which is a registered park and garden.

The Ministry of Defence proposed to demolish the buildings in reliance on permitted development rights.  Based on advice from Richard Harwood QC, SAVE Britain's Heritage submitted that the permitted development rights did not apply and if they did, then insufficient information had been provided.  The Council have agreed and refused prior approval for demolition.
