David Hopkins and Stephanie David successfully represent three athletes in response to apparent whereabouts failures

David Hopkins and Stephanie David successfully represented three athletes responding to alleged whereabouts failures notified to the athletes by UK Anti-Doping ("UKAD"). Stephanie advised two athletes: one of whom is in the National Registered Testing Pool and was responding to an apparent Missed Test; and, the other, a member of the Domestic Testing Pool, who had been issued with a notice of an apparent Filing Failure in relation to whereabouts information. David also represented a member of the Domestic Testing Pool in responding to an alleged Filing Failure.

All three athletes are subject to the same National Governing Body. They had attended a training camp abroad at the time of the alleged failures. David and Stephanie successfully argued, on behalf of the athletes, that no negligent behaviour on their part had caused or contributed to the inaccurate address for the camp which had been filed with UKAD. UKAD will take no further action.
