Challenge brought by the Good Law Project to the award of contracts for antibody tests

The Technology and Construction Court has heard the Good Law Project's challenge to the Government's decisions to award various contracts to Abingdon Health for the development, manufacture and supply of antibody tests.  The case raises important points regarding a public authority's obligations under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 in circumstances where a direct award is made without competition, as well as issues of nationality discrimination and state aid.

Stephanie David was led by Joseph Barrett and Rupert Paines (11 KBW) and instructed by Alex Rook of Rook Irwin Sweeney to act on behalf of the Good Law Project.
