Brain injury in sport - An issue of negligence or an unavoidable hazard? (Sport Resolutions Annual Conference)

Nicola Greaney will be speaking at this year's Sport Resolutions Annual Conference on Tuesday 23rd March.

She will join an esteemed panel of sporting professionals and industry experts speaking at the event, discussing the latest news and ideas in sporting arena. The conference will be hosted by broadcaster Jacqui Oatley MBE.

Nicola will be speaking in the first session of the day on 'Brain Injury in Sport - An issue of negligence or an unavoidable hazard?', alongside John Mousinho, PFA Players' Board Member & Footballer; Dr Barry O'Driscoll, Former Chairman of IRFU Medical Committee and Ed Lodge, Founder & CEO of CSx.

The session will look at how sports manage the risks of brain injury now, including the use of HIAs (Head Injury Assessments) and it's supporting software. They will also, however, explore whether enough is being done or indeed whether more should have been done sooner, and the possible legal ramifications if there has been avoidable harm.
