The Bar Council and its German counterpart, the Deutscher Anvalt Verein (DAV), are holding their fourth joint seminar in Hamburg on 21 June 2013. The topics include the pros and cons of arbitration in Germany and England, in a session chaired by Thirty Nine’s Gordon Nardell QC. The speakers are Michael-Patchett Joyce QC of the English Bar and Prof. Hanns-Christian Salger of Frankfurt practice Salger Rechtanwälte and Czech firm Mareš Partners. The seminar also includes sessions on advocacy in the General Court and CJEU, and current issues in EU financial services law. The event is generously hosted by the Hamburg office of Taylor Wessing.
