39 Essex Chambers is delighted to announce that Alison Foster QC has been elected Joint Head of Chambers alongside Neil Block QC.  The first female to be elected to the position, she takes over from Stephen Tromans QC who stepped down officially today.

Alison Foster QC was called to the Bar in 1984 and took Silk in 2002.
